Website design and development is a task that has numerous facets if it is going to be done correctly. We like to try and undertake work with the minimum of ‘fuss and palaver’ but there are certain stages that we like to follow with a new client in order to try and get things ‘right first time’. For example:
1. Briefing: where we sit down with you either physically or ‘virtually’ and ascertain what you really want and help you discover what you really need!
2. Creation: we create the initial version of your site and provide an opportunity for feedback.
3. Review: an opportunity to review your site and decide on any minor tweaks or changes.
4. Check: we (and you) get a chance to test your site for any little problems and we make sure that your minor changes have been completed to your satisfaction. Then your site is ready to ‘go live’!
5. Launch: your site goes live on the Internet and becomes publicly viewable.
Although your web site vision will now have become a reality you will also have the option to have a additional follow-up and modification sessions as we monitor performance and identify further opportunities to optimize your site’s performance.
You’ll appreciate then that there is far more than simply ‘knocking off’ a simple design and publishing it to the web… Plenty of website designers may do this and leave you to sink or swim — we do not. Therefore whilct we belive we are amongst the most economical website developers out there, we also have to charge faor and reasonable fees in line with the time and expertsie applied on your behalf in oredr to make sure you have a website (or blog) that will truly ‘perform’ and achieve its objectives…
This means we can provide some indicative ideas of cost but cannot provide a final quote until we hear from you and get to know a little more about what you want and need more exactly…
For example you may require:
* An online store
* A landing page site (prospect capture site – typically 1 or 2 pages)
* A simple brochure sites (1 or 2 pages)
* A company information site (3 to 5 pages or more)
* A site with one or more customer contact forms
* A blog — either independent or as part of a main site
* A Photo gallery — or several!
* Any combination of the above… or perhaps much more
You may also need us to acquire a domain for you (your website/blog’s ‘address and name’), and/or possibly to provide hosting for your website/blog… all these services can be provided and will affect a final quote… As will your requirement for ongoing support, updating, back-up, maintenance, content management assistance and/or training, content creation…etc., etc., etc.,
It would be easy for us to try and sell our services off the back of an offer to build a website for £290/€350/$450– for example… But this would tend to be misleading as a full, fair and realistic quote cannot be provided until we know how we can best help you to get the results you want from creating or improving your online ‘presence’… (That said for those still too shy to contact us right away, please see more detailed website development cost/pricing examples here)
What we can promise you is that you will find the prices we charge for the quality of service we offer is unlikely to be beaten…
So — don’t be afraid to get in touch and ask us for your free no-obligation quote
